Taxis are, however, regulated. As are their employment contracts and fees. While some are independent contractors (as I had been for many years) these contracts are not at the same mercy as Uber drivers — where they can simply lose their work on a instants notice for no reason.

I’m not entirely sure what the comment about the murders has to do with this discussion. Are you saying driving a taxi presses one to commit murder? And being an Uber driver forgoes this stress? Or are you implying that taxi drivers are even less vetted than Uber drivers (Hint: they are not.)

Or was this just nonsense having no real point? ;)
