I wonder if your father didn't include you in the slide show, because you have actively chosen not to be in that part of his life. Regardless of how that part of his life started, it is now his life. It's probably very painful for him for you not to be a part of it.

He may not have wanted the reminder that you only love a part of him. Not all of him. Only the part that serves you.
